Privacy Policy

LocalView Tech Private Limited operates dynamicqr.cloud and is the Data Fiduciary for personal data described in this notice. This notice explains our practices under India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 and applicable rules. Some requirements have phased commencement; we apply these privacy controls now.

QR codes

When you create a dynamic QR code we store its name, company or brand label, destination link and design (including any logo you add) so the short link can forward visitors and you can edit it. When someone scans a dynamic QR code we record the time, coarse device type, operating system, browser family and country where available. Country is estimated from a trusted hosting header or an on-server IP-country database; the lookup does not send visitor IPs to a geolocation API. Country data may include MaxMind GeoLite2 data under CC BY-SA 4.0. VPNs and mobile networks may affect the estimate. We do not store scanners' IP addresses; unique visitors are estimated with a salted hash that changes daily. Dynamic QR data is kept until the owner deletes the code.

Account emails

We send email verification codes, payment receipts and service notifications about plans and QR scan allowances through LocalView?s SMTP mail service. Verification codes expire after 15 minutes. Sent message bodies are cleared from our delivery queue after SMTP acceptance. Delivery failures are retried; diagnostic delivery codes are retained for troubleshooting. We do not use these service emails for marketing.

Accounts

If you create an account we store your optional name, email address and a salted, one-way hash of your password (never the password itself). If you sign in with Google, Facebook or GitHub we receive your account ID, name, verified email address and profile photo link from that provider, and nothing else; we never see your Google, Facebook or GitHub password. A strictly necessary, secure session cookie keeps you signed in for up to 30 days; it is not used for analytics or advertising. Account data is kept until you ask us to delete your account. Data we may process

Before consent, Google Consent Mode sends anonymous, cookieless pings that include your IP address (used transiently by Google to derive approximate location and prevent fraud, not used to set cookies or build a profile) so we can measure aggregate, modelled usage. If you consent to Analytics, Google Analytics 4 may additionally process online identifiers, device and browser information, approximate location derived from IP address, pages viewed, interactions, and diagnostic information. If you consent to Advertising, Google AdSense may process identifiers and information about ad delivery, measurement, fraud prevention, and personalization according to your Google settings and applicable law.

Purposes and consent

Analytics measures traffic, reliability, and feature usage. Advertising supports the service and measures ad performance. We use Google Consent Mode: before you consent, and if you reject, Google operates in a restricted "denied" state that sends only anonymous, cookieless signals and serves non-personalised ads — no analytics or advertising cookies are set and no profile is built. When you consent, cookies and personalisation are enabled for the purposes you allow. You may refuse or withdraw consent at any time through Cookie choices without losing access to QR management.

Payments

Paid plans are processed by Razorpay. To create a payment we share your name, email address and phone number with Razorpay; card, UPI and bank details are entered on Razorpay's secure pages and never reach our servers. We keep a record of each order (plan, amount, date and payment reference) for accounting and tax purposes for as long as the law requires. If you contact us about Enterprise, we keep your enquiry details to reply and follow up.

Processors and transfers

Google acts as a service provider for Analytics and Advertising and may process data on infrastructure outside India, subject to its contractual safeguards and any restrictions imposed by Indian law. Review how Google uses data from partner sites.

Retention

We keep your consent choice in your browser until you change it or clear browser storage. Analytics and advertising data is retained according to our configured Google settings and Google's applicable retention rules. We do not retain uploaded image files because they are never uploaded.

Your rights

You may ask for a summary of personal data we control, correction, completion, erasure, or grievance redressal, and you may withdraw consent through Cookie choices at any time. You may also nominate another person to exercise applicable rights in the event of death or incapacity.

Children

This general-purpose converter is not directed to children and we do not knowingly request personal data from children. Optional analytics and advertising remain off unless consent is provided. A parent or lawful guardian may contact us about a child's data.

Administration and abuse prevention

We record the last time a signed-in account accesses the service to understand recent account activity. Authorized administrators may inspect account details and QR destinations, investigate abuse reports, check links against configured threat lists, and restrict or remove abusive accounts and codes. Administrative changes are recorded with the administrator, time, reason and relevant before/after information. These records support security, incident review and accountability.

Support requests

If you contact support, we use your name, reply email, message and any order reference or public QR link you provide to investigate and reply. Requests are queued for delivery to contactus@localview.in. Queue message bodies are cleared after mail delivery is accepted. Support correspondence is retained as needed to resolve your request and handle related issues. Do not submit passwords, secret keys, card details or private manage links.

We use browser-local image processing, access controls, and reasonable technical safeguards appropriate to this service. Please describe your request and the browser or device involved. If your grievance is not resolved, you may use remedies available under applicable law.

We may update this notice when the service, vendors, or law changes. The effective date above identifies the latest version.
